The judicial system of the country must be revamped by infusing democratic principles in it, jurist Mohan Gopal has said. He was delivering a lecture on ‘Reforming India’s judicial system to achieve the constitutional vision of justice. The event was organised by the Vakkom Moulavi Foundation Trust. The framework of the system is created with colonial principles and groomed in Brahminical culture. Hence an urgent surgical cleansing is required for the health upkeep of the system, Mohan Gopal said, His comments have come in the wake of the recent developments in the Supreme Court where four senior judges called a press conference to air their differences of opinion with the Chief justice of the India.
